L16 Easily Confused Words
SPELLING FOCUS: Some words are easily confused because they have similar pronunciations and spellings: collage, college.
- collage – The art student created a collage.
- college – He will study journalism in college.
- emigrants – Many emigrants left China.
- immigrants – Some Chinese immigrants came here.
- hardy – This hardy plant will withstand cold.
