Field Trip Update!

I wanted to give you an update about our upcoming field trip to see Seussical: The Musical on Thursday, January 25, 2018:

A permission slip is coming home in your child’s homework folder today. Please fill out all the required parts of the form today in order to give your child permission to attend this exciting field trip! This field trip permission slip should be sent back to school in your child’s homework folder by Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

Please note on the permission slip there is a portion of the form that says “Cost: $10.” Thanks to all of your efforts, we made $282.70 from our Nacho Sale! This sale covered the cost of the tickets for the musical. In order to cover the cost of the bus, each student will need to bring in $10. Please send this money in a sealed envelop labeled with your child’s name (first and last), amount enclosed, and “first grade field trip.” This should be sent to school in your child’s homework folder in the clear protective sleeve by Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

For the field trip, we will leave school at 9:00am. The show starts at 10:00am and will be finished no later than 12:30pm. We should arrive back to school around 1:00pm. Because we will still be on the field trip during the student’s normal snack and lunch time, please PACK BOTH a snack and lunch for your student on this day. We will eat snack before we leave, and we will eat a late lunch when we return. If you have already paid for Happy Lunch for this date, you will receive a credit on your account.
