Hello First Grade Families!
Below are a few exciting announcements for the next few weeks:
- This Thursday, April 19th, we will be celebrating April birthdays from 2:20pm-2:40pm. If your child has an April birthday (or did not get a chance to wear free dress for their March birthday) they may wear free dress on this day.
- After the birthday celebrations on Thursday, April 19th, we will be having an Easter celebration on the field by the library from 2:40pm-2:50pm.
- In order to make our Easter celebration a success, we are asking that each first grade family consider donating 12 plastic eggs filled with nut and egg free candy. These eggs should be brought to school no later than Wednesday, April 18th.
- Earth Day is coming up, and we are going to do an in-class project where we will need recycled newspapers. If any of you have newspapers at your house that you do not mind donating to our class project, please bring them to school no later than Thursday, April 19th.
- Mrs. Guzman bought our first grade class pizza and free dress at our auction a few weeks ago! On Monday, April 23rd, all first grade students may wear free dress and pizza will be provided for all students. Please plan lunches accordingly! Thank you, Guzman family!!!
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! Thanks!
Warmly,
Ms. Lozano
