1. Saint Report and Costume: Please note that the Bubble Map and Title page that was due last week is just one portion of the final Research Report the students will be completing in class. I am using the Bubble Map they had turned in to introduce and also guide them through the writing process that includes pre-writing, drafting, editing, proofreading, and writing a final research report. Most of the writing work will be done in class and portions may be sent home depending on student needs throughout the span of the next two weeks. Moreover, it is the school’s tradition to have the students dress up as their saint on November 1st. The costume will be a small portion of their Saint Research Report grade. Please help your child find an appropriate costume befitting of their Saint to be worn on Thursday, November 1st, All Saints Day! The only thing I ask is not to spend too much money! It’s okay if you assemble things from your closet for the Saint costume. A simple name tag will be required do identify the student’s Saint. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
