Homework 10/17/18

I pray you all are having a wonderful week.

I wanted to give you all a few reminders and announcements as we finish this upcoming week:

• Monday-Wednesday math homework is from your child’s Go Math! Standards Practice book.
• Tomorrow night (Thursday) students will come home with a review packet.
• On Friday (10/19) students should staple the Go Math! pages AND the review packet together to receive full credit for this week’s math homework.

• Students should continue to do one activity a night to practice the weekly sight words in their journals. Journals should be turned in on Friday.
• Students should continue to read for 20-30 minutes nightly and fill out their reading logs (this week’s focus is asking questions). Reading logs should be turned in every day.

• Go Math! Chapter 2 Test will be on Friday, October 19th.
• Weekly Sight Word test will be on Friday, October 19th.

• “Saint Plate” Project is due on Tuesday, October 23rd. Please see separate email for reminder & details.
• Sound of Music field trip is next Thursday, October 25th.
• Halloween is coming up on October 31st. Dismissal is at noon.
• All Saint’s Day Mass is on Thursday, November 1st. Students should come dressed up as their assigned Saint. Please see separate email for reminder & details.

Please email me or put a note in your child’s homework folder if you have any questions or concerns. Unfortunately I am unable to have any conferences during morning assembly or dismissal for safeguarding the children purposes. However, I am always happy to meet with you at a scheduled time!
