Dear First Grade Families,
I hope you are doing well! We had a very fun day celebrating the 100th day of school today! Everyone’s projects were wonderful, and I loved the costumes of those who dressed up!
Please see the below reminders and announcements for homework and tests this week:
Homework
Math: Students should complete one page (front and back) out of the attached math homework review to prepare for the test on Friday. All pages should be complete by Thursday. Math homework will be turned in on Friday.
Sight Word Journal: The sight words for this week are a combination of review and new words. Please have your child complete one activity with all sight words (4 activities total) and turn in on Friday.
Reading Log: We are finishing up our lesson on central message (the lesson the characters learn in a story). Students are to read a fiction book each night and write the central message on their reading log. Reading logs should be turned in everyday.
