Dear First Grade Parents,
I pray you all are having a wonderful week.
I wanted to give you all a few reminders and announcements for this week;
Saint Plate Project Reporting
Presentation & Listening to others is part of their project. Please make sure that they know the important facts about their saint when they report it. Here is the group of students that will report for tomorrow and the following days. ( in # order)
- Tuesday- # 10-17
- Wednesday- # 18- 26
- Thursday – # 27- 34
Thursday 10/24
We will have our School mass on Thurs. 10/24 and since we have PE on that day they can wear their mass uniform with their tennis shoes.
- Girls could wear shorts under their jumpers
- Boys could wear blue shorts not slacks.

- This week students will come home with a review packet. 1 paper per day.
- On Thursday students should staple the review packet together with their reading log page.
- ST Math, I encourage families to please continue doing ST Math at home (10-15 mins/day) This will help our students reach our goal for the first semester.
Sight Words & Reading Log
- Students should continue to do one activity a night to practice the weekly sight words in their journals. Journals should be turned in on Thursday, 10/24
- Students should continue to read for 20-30 minutes nightly and fill out their reading logs. Reading logs should be turned in every day.
Tests
- Weekly Sight Word test will be on Thursday, October 24th.
- Weekly Word Study test will be on Thursday, October 24th.
