Dear Parents and Guardians,
It was great seeing many of you at our Special Persons’ Family Social/Silent Disco this Saturday, 2/29. What a fun and memorable experience for all who attended! Many thanks to our faculty and staff who were there, and also to our PLC Co-Chairs, Angelic Nunez-Scott and Theresa Pavon for spearheading the beautiful event. Thank you to Pattie Padilla and all the faculty/staff and parent volunteers for attending the event, and helping to organize the silent auction items and sponsorship items. It takes a village to raise our children, and seeing our community come together so beautifully proved this. Our families had an unforgettable time. If anyone took pictures, please upload it to our school social media outlets. You can tag us at #sapschoolgardena.
Just a reminder that our Second Trimester ends this Friday, 3/6 and we will have our next Mass and Awards ceremony on Friday, 3/13.We have no school on Monday, 3/2 due to a teacher workshop, and when we return on Tuesday, 3/3, we will celebrate Read Across America Week! Students can wear crazy socks on Tuesday, crazy hairstyles on Wednesday, and a cultural outfit on Thursday. Thursday 3/5 is also our school Talent Show! Our WASC Visiting Committee will have their pre-visit on Friday, March 6. They will be back for their official visit from March 24-26. Please welcome them on campus.
