To our valued SAP School Families,
Like you, we are closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19. Things are rapidly changing, and now we are supposed to limit groups to 10 or less people in a space, nationwide.
As a Catholic school community, we are committed to doing the right thing to protect the health and well-being of our students, employees, their families and the broader communities we serve.
Effective Tuesday, March 17 – Tuesday, March 31, 2020, St. Anthony of Padua School will be operating at a reduced capacity. Our main office will remain open from 8am-12noon, and then we will have virtual digital office hours continued from 1-4pm. You can email or call the office at those times.
We are encouraging our employees to practice social distancing and work from home when possible. This follows the recommended guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
St. Anthony of Padua School serves 220 students, and we know that COVID-19 has deeply impacted all of us in this community. Numerous districts have made the difficult decision to either continue teaching remotely or shut down schools completely. We are thankful to have our teachers prepared to continue with our distance learning.
In the face of these unprecedented circumstances, we are committed to continuing our support of our families. During this time, the best thing we can do is work together to combat the spread of COVID-19 and find new ways to keep inspiring students to grow and learn physically, spiritually, and academically.
If you have concerns or questions about academics, please contact your child’s teacher directly, or email me at agrey@stanthonygardena.org.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Grey
