I pray that you are all doing well. I miss working with your students in person, but I have enjoyed seeing them sing and dance for their music assignments! I wanted to let you know that starting this week, students can earn their credit for music each week by:
Attend the optional Zoom Music Class
or
Completing the Music Assignment
You no longer have to do both (unless of course, your child would like to; more music is always encouraged if it makes them happier and less stressed!)
The Zoom Schedule is below:
K-1: Wednesday from 11-12
2-3: Tuesday from 11-12
4-8: Thursday from 10:15-11:15 (Jr. High can leave at 11am)
For the first half an hour we will be singing praise music and some musical music. The last half an hour will be karaoke, children can request songs, and it will also be a time to be social and interact with eachother. If people need to leave after the first half an hour, that is fine, you will still receive credit. The last half is meant to just have some fun together.
A note about siblings: If you have siblings that are close in age and it would be easier for you to have them join at the same time (and the other sibling can join), I don’t mind mixing grades especially if that would make life easier for you.
Music assignments will still be posted on SeeSaw, Google Classroom, and the Music Blog (They will be posted Tuesday morning this week). If you can’t join the Zoom meeting, no problem, just complete the class assignment!
God Bless you all!
Mrs. Garcia
