Dear Parents and Guardians,
It’s hard to believe we have reached our last week of school! We made it through a trimester of distance learning – praise God! Last Friday, June 12, we graduated our 8th grade class with a beautiful in-person Graduation Mass and ceremony in the Hall. Thankfully, restrictions were lifted in the past 2 weeks, which allowed us to have a proper ceremony to honor our graduates. It was a blessing to see everyone again. Best of luck to all our students as they begin their high school career! Congratulations to the students and their families on all their accomplishments.
This past Saturday, June 13, was the Feast Day of St. Anthony of Padua. Our 2nd graders also made their First Reconciliation with Msgr. Sal and Fr. Paolo. Our prayers go with them as they prepare for their First Holy Communion next Saturday, 6/20 in our newly renovated church.
We look forward to celebrating all our fathers next Sunday, June 21: Happy Fathers’ Day to our amazing dads! We are grateful to you for your continuous strength and leadership. May God bless you now and always.
Wed, June 17 is our last day of school before we begin our Summer vacation. Our 3rd Trimester Awards will be done virtually in each class with the homeroom teacher. You will get specific information from your child’s teacher re: activities for this week.
Students’ report cards will be emailed and can be picked up in person on the last day of school. (This is for students whose parents have met all their financial obligations for the year. Report cards will be held otherwise. Please take care of all outstanding balances this week).
I wish to thank each and every one of you for your hard work, dedication, and support this year. Although we could never have predicted that we would be together in person only until March 13, with God’s grace, we made it through together. Even during quarantine, we created many new memories that will last a lifetime. Hopefully we remember all the good times we spent together with our families. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to Catholic education and investing in your children’s future. Enjoy your summer and see you next school year!
God bless,
Mrs. Grey, Principal

EARN ONE SERVICE HOUR FROM HOME!
Parents who review our school online on Yelp, Google, AND greatschools.org will earn up to one service hour after you send me your screenshots of all 3 site as proof: to agrey@stanthonygardena.org.
SCHOOL DONATIONS
For families looking to pay off their service hour commitment, our school gives the option to buy Scrip and donate to the school for overhead expenses. We buy a lot of materials and supplies from Home Depot for Beautification of our school, and Office Depot for much needed supplies, so if you buy Scrip valued at $10/hour and donate it to the school to offset costs, we will credit your service hour account. Thanks for your generosity to our school!

Our office will be open during the summer from 8am-12 noon. There is no Summer School offered this year, but we will have service projects on campus throughout the summer months.
