Hello Third Grade Families!
An important email from Mrs. Grey was sent out last Friday, August 13. Kindly read the email IMPORTANT Updates for St. Anthony of Padua School for Reopening and First Day of School on Wed, August 18, 2021, as it refers to the safe reopening of our school.
Here are the additional reminders for this week.
Morning Drop-Off
Students get dropped off and go straight to me at the brown benches for 7:50 am attendance. If your child is not with me by 7:50 he/she will be marked TARDY. We are asking that NO PARENTS of students in grades 2-8 stay on campus after drop off OR pickup, unless you have a scheduled appointment. Please be ready to drop off your child and exit on 161st St. on the first day of school. Only Kinder and 1st grade parents may park in the small lot and use the crosswalks to walk to the classrooms and drop off their children. If you have K-1 students, please instruct your 3rd Grader to walk straight in our group.
PICK-UP
Third Graders will be seated behind Saint Jude Statue. If you have multiple children, the oldest sibling will go and stay with your youngest.
WALK-IN
IF you are walking to school you can use the pedestrian gate near the small parking lot and use the designated crosswalks for drop off or they can go to the front gate and get buzzed in. For pick up it would be safer to use the front gate by the intercom.
DAYCARE
If you registered your child for daycare, please provide extra snacks and lunch. If interested, please see attached registration and email the office to check for available space.
Health Screening Form
Parents are to submit the screening daily to the school, and take their child’s temperature at home before coming to school. One form per family. The link and QR code will be provided by the school. A link for the Health Screening Questions is below: https://forms.gle/w1VvM2VcGupof74d7. Please do not bring sick children to school or they will be sent home immediately.
