Good afternoon First Grade Families,
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Our first day of school is tomorrow. I hope you all had a chance to read Mrs. Grey’s email sent on Friday regarding all the important information that families must be aware of. Below are additional reminders for this week. I ask that you read all the information to avoid questions that are clearly stated below.

Today will be our last day to drop off our community supplies, 8am-3pm. Bins are placed outside our classroom, please sort the supplies in each box. I would like to thank everyone for all your donations for our class, I greatly appreciate it!

When you get to our classroom, please check our TEMPORARY classroom roster posted outside. You will see your child’s assigned number which will help them find their hooks for their back packs. These numbers are temporary, we may still add more students on our roster.
What to bring:
- pencil box (with all materials inside)
- 3 notebooks (must be labeled)
- Whiteboard, markers and eraser

Students with older siblings:
For pick up and drop off, please park in the small parking lot in Berendo gate and use the crosswalk and drop off ALL your children to their respective classroom/spots.
K-8 Health screening should be done at home every day by parents, before bringing their child to school.
Parents are to submit the screening daily to the school, and take their child’s temperature at home before coming to school. One form per family. The link and QR code will be provided by the school. A link for the Health Screening Questions is below: https://forms.gle/w1VvM2VcGupof74d7. Please do not bring sick children to school or they will be sent home immediately.
Wednesday, 8/18: First Day of School (noon dismissal and Free Dress)

Only Kinder and 1st grade parents may park in the small lot and use the crosswalks to walk to the classrooms and drop off their children. Same for pickup at noon on the first day of school. Please drive safely and follow the speed 5mph limit.
K-1 Parents dropping off their child before school and picking them up from class after dismissal, (are highly encouraged to wear a mask). Then they will return to their car and exit the campus. No lingering around the classroom and congregating, please.
Know that for security purposes, ALL Gates will be closed at 8am daily, after the 7:50 tardy bell rings. We will secure the campus at that time.
