HOMEWORK / ASSIGNMENT
All homework assignments are due Fridays. Kindly staple them the night before your child turns them in ( 1 set for Math and 1 set for ELA). It would be easier for them to sort their homework Friday morning.
This week only homework assignments are due on Thursday.
BEHAVIOR
As I have mentioned during Back-to-School Night, we are using our clip chart to determine your child’s behavior for the day. Kindly check your child’s planner daily. We have a total of 25 points each week. (5points) — pink, purple, and blue ; (4points) green ; (3 points) yellow ; (2 points) orange ; (0 point) red

Word Study (Focus: Words with Long /o/ — oa in goat, ow on bowl, o in open, and o_e in vote)
Study the following words: show, road, grown, goal, owner, shallow, yellow, railroad, load, open, told, sailboats, tomorrow, cold, most, glow, follow, shadow, almost, throat.
Target Vocabulary
Complete daily practice. Upload completed work in Google Classroom Thursdays on/before 7pm.
(Monday) Write the words in ABC order twice (red notebook)
(Tuesday) Write a sentence for each vocabulary word (red notebook)
(Wednesday) Use different colors to write your vocabulary words twice (red notebook)
(Thursday) Video record with eyes closed. Spell words out loud.

Saint Report
This year our theme will be Franciscan Saints. Students will be given their saint report assignments.

* Saint Report Video Presentation — due Oct. 29
— Students will showcase their oral presentation skills. Video presentation should be uploaded on Google Classroom on/before Oct. 29 at 4pm.
