Dear Third Grade Families,
Happy Weekend! It was nice seeing our students wearing their costumes yesterday! They all looked awesome. I am glad we were able to celebrate “Trunk or Treat” this year.
Here are the information you need for this week.
Monday, November 1st
It is All Saints Day on Monday! Students must wear their saint costume of their choice. We will be having our procession at our 8am Mass.

WORD STUDY(Focus: Words with three-letter clusters scr, spr, str, or thr)
Study the following words: three, street, ostrich, scrape, scratch, throw, stripes, throat, scrapbook, stronger, spring, destroy, stretch, thrill, scream, strange, struggle, describe, thrive, through, stroke)
MEET THE MASTERS
We are scheduled to have our “Meet the Masters” on Nov. 5th. Students must bring an oversized old shirt to protect their mass uniform from paints.
TARGET VOCABULARY
Complete daily practice. Upload all completed work in Google Classroom Thursdays on/before 7pm
(Monday) Arrange the words in ABC order. Twice
(Tuesday) Write a sentence for each vocabulary word (red notebook)
(Wednesday) Use different colors to write your vocabulary words twice (red notebook)
(Thursday) Video record with eyes closed. Spell words out loud.

* scribbles – drawings or doodles, drawn in a quick or careless way

REPORT CARDS
** Our first trimester will end on November 11. Teachers will be working on comments and GradeLink will not be available after November 5th. I encourage you to check GradeLink this week.
** If you need GradeLink access, kindly contact the school office.
** Any missing assignments from October 1st must be completed/turned in on/before November 5.
** ST Math must be at 34% progress.
** AR must be at 100%
Blue Mass
To honor our first responders, we would like to invite and celebrate you, your family, and friends on November 5th at our 8am school mass. Please rsvp to the school office on or before Monday, November 1, 2021. After Mass, we invite those First Responders in attendance, to enjoy a continental breakfast with our
Student Government in the parish hall.
