Christmas show reminder
For more detailed information please check this link from Ms. Garcia, http://www.stanthonygardena.org/2021/11/11/2021-christmas-show/
Christmas Show is Wednesday, December 15th at 6pm in the Church! Students should report to their classrooms at 5:30pm in their formal Christmas red attire.
We are looking for volunteers to help decorate and clean-up the church for this event. Decorating will be on Weds. December 15th from 12:30-2:30pm. Clean-up will be for an hour following the show. Please sign-up here on our sign-up genius to help out! You can earn 2 hours for decorating and an hour for clean-up (Please bring your papers so Mrs. Garcia can sign you off)! We will meet in the Church.
Before the show there will be two food trucks on campus from 3-6pm (Tasty Block and a Taco Truck). We also will be having our EFG Feedback Party in the Hall from 3-5:30pm. Feel free to come enjoy the food, fellowship, and support our school!
Attire: You will be wearing Poinsettia (Christmas) red (5th grade is different depending on your role, please see more detailed letter sent last month)! Boys should dress in nice dress shirt tops (Red) with black dress pants (NO JEANS), and black shoes and socks. Girls can either wear a red formal dress with leggings (socks or tights in tan, white, or black) and black dress shoes. Or they can wear a red blouse with a black skirt, white tights and black dress shoes. Hair should be nicely done. For the girls, make sure it looks nice and formal.
We ask all families to wait until the end of the program. They will only be checked out by their teachers at the end of the show.
This year, due to COVID-19 we ask the following of you:
- Attendance will be limited to immediate family (parents or guardians, brothers, sisters) and grandparents. Please stick to this rule.
- Please wear a mask and keep it on while inside any buildings. Students should come with a mask and will be given another mask once they arrive in the classroom. They can wear the mask given to them so they have matching masks with their classmates.
- Once in the church, please stay in your seats as much as possible. We will NOT be allowing you to move around to take pictures. Please take pictures from your seat. Mr. De Leon will be taking official pictures of the night and we will share them with each of you. We also will be filming the performance and we will be happy to share the link to download the video once it has been edited. There will also be a live stream for anyone else who might want to see the show.
- This is a “required” performance, however, if your child is sick or showing symptoms of Covid-19, we ask that they stay home. Please email Mrs. Jessica Garcia (jgarcia@stanthonygardena.org) and they will be excused from the performance.

Uniform
Parents, once again, please refer to our handbook for details about the uniform to avoid uniform infractions, I will be giving out uniform infractions to those students that are not wearing the correct, complete and proper uniform. Girls can’t have nail polish and all accessories must be in our school color. Boys’ shirts MUST be tucked in their pants. All students must wear our school sweaters/ jackets with our school logo or plain navy-blue jacket or our gray SLE sweater. I won’t be sending notes anymore but instead a uniform infraction.
Snack & Lunch behavior
Parents, please continue reminding our firsties on keeping their hands to themselves, staying in own bubble, treating others with respect, being kind and nice to friends. (No calling names and tattle telling). We are reminding our firsties everyday but these reminders should also come from home. I would greatly appreciate all your support on this matter.
