Friday COVID test results – ONLY RECEIVED 8 RESULTS
Please forward to me a negative test by tomorrow, Sunday, 1/23. This will determine if your child can be on campus this coming Monday.
Monday COVID TESTING
Parents, kindly make sure you signed up on our Pacific Toxicology testing. On Monday, all students should test again on campus to be cleared to stay for the week. Students will test with their classes. Parents do not need to stay with their child if a negative result was submitted by Sunday. Please note, on campus testing is for students and staff only.
As soon as you receive your results, please forward it to me to be cleared. If you have not received results within 24 hours, you may contact Mrs. Grey and include me in the email.
Please note, beginning next week students are expected to be on campus with the exception of students who test positive, are symptomatic, or have been identified as a close contact to a positive case if unvaccinated.
There will be no hybrid or asynchronous lessons beginning next week. If your child is not on campus their work will be sent home upon their return.
If your child is fully vaccinated (2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson) please submit a copy of their card to the office or teacher. Without this on record, your child will be considered unvaccinated.
For the latest guidance please review the School Isolation Flowchart.
Masks
This month we are taking greater precautions like wearing a surgical mask/double mask or N95 Mask to protect us and others from all viral sickness. We are wearing masks indoors at all times, and outdoors when social distancing is not possible. We don’t need to wear masks outside when actively eating or drinking.
Blue binder & pencil boxes
If your child stayed at home during our Hybrid lessons. Kindly make sure to bring their First-Grade blue binder (including all the worksheets that were sent out) and their complete & organized pencil boxes on Monday.
DAYCARE
Daycare services are suspended till Feb. When we return in February, we will limit the number of kids who can be in daycare when we reopen. We will give priority to those who have no alternative daycare options. Mrs. Pattie Padilla will reach out first to those families who are “regulars” in after school care, needing 4-5 days a week of care. Likely, we will limit daycare to 12 children per adult, and we will try our best to keep families and grade levels together to avoid commingling.
DISMISSAL TIME
Wed- 1:30pm
Th-F- 3pm
Let me know if you have any questions and concerns. God Bless!
Warmly,
Ms. Martinez
