It will be a 12 Noon Dismissal. Please note that our Office closes at 3pm that day, and Daycare will only be offered till 3pm after the Trunk or Treat and HalloweenParade/activities.
If your child is staying for Daycare until 3pm, please provide your child with a lunch from home as Happy Lunch will NOT be served on 10/31.
In addition you may also send your child with money that day, as the 8th grade is LUNCH FUNDRAISER after school on 10/31, so please support!
I will ask the students this week to let me know what their costumes will be. They must be appropriate and pre-approved, or a student may be sent home to change.
- Costumes should be child-friendly. No inflatables, no gory or scary clowns, no devils, or scary costumes
- Costumes Should Not:
- Be obstructive, offensive, inappropriate for a Catholic school (skimpy miniskirts or revealing tops), gory, evil, or violent
- Drag on the ground
- Contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another person.
- Contain any weapons which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
- Encourage cross-dressing. Boys dress up like boys and girls dress up like girls.
ALL SAINTS’ DAY DRESS UP – November 1st
As part of your child’s Religion participation grade, he/she must come to school dressed up as ANY Catholic Saint for the Feast of All Saints. The Saint costumes do not need to be elaborate. The students will process into the church at the beginning of Mass with the school in their costumes. They should wear their Saint costumes OVER their school uniform as they will be changing in the classroom after Mass.
All Saints’ Day is a Holy Day of Obligation, so if you are not able to join us for Mass, you can find information for local churches at https://masstimes.org/. Make sure to confirm the Mass times on the parish websites, as sometimes there are changes not reflected on the Masstimes site/app. Mass times at St. Anthony of Padua on November 1st will be 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 5:30 PM, 7:00 PM (Language: Spanish).
