Welcome First Grade Families,
I am Ms. Nicole Martinez, your child’s first grade teacher. I hope everyone is having an awesome summer! Welcome to an exciting year of learning and growth! I am thrilled to have you and your child as part of our 1st-grade family. This is a special time where curiosity knows no bounds, and every day brings new opportunities to explore, create, and discover.
Throughout the year, your child will embark on a journey of academic exploration, building foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and beyond. But it’s not just about academics – I also place a strong emphasis on character development, social skills, and fostering a sense of community. I encourage collaboration, kindness, and respect among our students, creating a positive atmosphere where everyone can thrive. We will be working on a lot of exciting things in class, individually and as a team.
Welcome Phone Call: August 4th, 7-8th @ 9am-4pm
I am looking forward to working with you and getting to know your child and helping them succeed in their education and participation! In order to best serve your child, any information to help me guide would be great!
I would like to reach out to each family by phone to learn about your child, share any likes/dislikes, health concerns, or any information you feel may benefit your child!
