Hi Kindergarten Families,
I hope everyone is well and enjoying Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! This past week we learned what an inspirational leader Martin Luther King, Jr. was and talked about how we can be more like him. Our Kindergarteners illustrated what their dreams are and this artwork can be found on our back door.
I believe it is best practice to take a moment to reflect with kindness: to rejoice in goodness and to learn how to be better for one another. Please note at the end of this email is a link for an anonymous Parent Survey I hope you will take the time to complete. I am not a perfect person, but a willing servant of God (as I remind the kids to always try their best as a Saint in training).
Here is all the information that you and your child will need for this week, 1/15-1/19.
Star Testing
Tuesday is the start of our second STAR testing window. This test will measure their knowledge from the 1st-2nd trimester. We will be testing this week and next. Please make sure that your child has enough sleep and a healthy breakfast before coming to school. Students will be using our school iPad to do the test. Students will wear headphones to avoid distraction.
Free Dress passes
Our school has new free dress passes. The new passes are valid for this school year only and cannot be used next school year. Old free dress passes will only be honored through January 31, 2024
Kindergarten Survey
I welcome feedback on how your year is going and how we can make Kindergarten positive growth year together. This will be anonymous. Please respond by the end of this week. Please click this link, Kindergarten Survey.
