Dear Kindergarten Families,
I hope everything is well with you and your family.
We had quite a week starting off by celebrating Valentine’s Day, receiving ashes at Ash Wednesday’s Mass and on Friday, attending our first Stations of the Cross.
During this Lenten season, I love how our Kindergarteners hope to show more kindness, spread love and sacrifice, much like Jesus.

Getty Museum Field Trip – Tuesday, 2/20
Rain or shine, we will be going to the Getty Museum! Folders and backpacks will not be needed today. Instead, please send your child in/with:
- school uniform only (NO free dress passes)
- snack will be eaten at school. The bus is scheduled to leave at 9:30 am
- a COMPLETELY disposable lunch and small drink in a gallon size plastic bag or other small disposable bag. We will throw out ALL lunch contents and containers. We will eat lunch prior to entering the museum and cannot transport anything back to school.
We will be riding the bus with the 3rd grade. Kindergarten will have a Getty docent led lesson/tour. Last week, we practiced Museum etiquette and I can’t wait to share the love of art and the Getty Museum with Kindergarten.
