Hello Families!
There was a lot going on this past week, and it was a really spectacular time!
The Lemonade War was amazing! Special thanks to Ms. Diaz, Ms. Silva, Mrs. Ng, Mr. Acosta, and Mrs. Waje for coming and helping out during the event! The kids had a lot of fun and were amazing at marketing, promoting, and selling! They managed to raise over $400 dollars which will be used for their class party! Their class party will be this FRIDAY JUNE 7th.
Their class play was on Thursday and they looked absolutely adorable in their costumes! They did great! Included in this email are some pictures and videos of their show!
Gradelink Blocked
As the year is winding down, the next few weeks will be filled with fun and some in-class projects. I will be updating the grade book this weekend for final grades. If there are missing tests/assignments I have let you know about, please submit them by Tuesday. Anything past that, I will not accept. There is no more tutoring for this year. The kids have grown a lot, and I am very impressed with how far they have come, especially in math!
Literature Circles
For the end of the year as a reading project, I split the class into four groups depending on the book the requested to read out of a few options by Roald Dahl. Everyone got either their first or second choice! They will be reading in their groups and taking notes with different responsibilities each day. If they do not finish their worksheet for the day, it will be homework.
