Dear SAP School Families,
Last week our school Musical Theater presented 4 spectacular shows of Beauty and the Beast! Congratulations to Mrs. Garcia and the 2 casts! Thank you to all the teachers, parents, and students who made this play a huge success. Our K-5 small class musical shows also took place last week in the Hall. All of our students are learning how to be confident on stage and have done such a terrific job singing, dancing, and memorizing their lines. What a gift to be able to offer theater to our students. Thank you, Mrs. Jessica Garcia for all you do!
Friday 5/31 was our Student Government Inauguration. Thank you to Mr. Richardson and Ms. Garcia for preparing our student leaders! Congratulations to all the students who participated.
Yesterday, June 2, was the 11am Family Mass. Our current 8th graders processed in with the SAP graduates of 2020 who just graduated from high school as the Class of 2024. Yesterday was also the feast of Corpus Christi. Thank you to all who joined the procession around the neighborhood after the 1pm Mass.
Our Hundred X Spring fundraiser has been extended till tomorrow, June 4! Our campaign will close this Tuesday, June 4 at 11:59pm Central Time. That means we will have all day Tuesday for participants to continue supporting the school. Last week we did very well, and we are SO close to reaching our goal of $30,000! I challenge all classes to have everyone who has ALREADY signed up to do 5-10 surveys today and tomorrow. We will reach our goal if we do this. I will continue to send updates as I receive them. This is an easy way to raise money, and it doesn’t cost us a cent. If you do not participate in Hundred X, you will be billed $100, as it takes the place of the Jog-A-Thon Fundraiser on the tuition contract. Winners will be announced this week.
Tomorrow, June 4 is our Gently Used Uniform Sale. We appreciate your support! Crossover Day is on June 5 at 10:20am for grades K-7. Summer packets and supply lists will be passed out at that time, and students can meet their new teachers for next year. Don’t forget to purchase your yearbooks for $45. Reserve your hardcover Yearbook now by sending a check made payable to the School with an order form.
It’s finally here: the LAST week of school for our 8th graders! They graduate this Friday on June 7. They have a week of fun activities and we pray they have a fun, exciting, and safe week. Our last day of school is next week on June 13. The SAP feast day festivities run from June 13-15. Please read more info in the Parish Bulletin and come enjoy it with your families!
Blessings,
Angela Grey, Principal
Mr. Reyes, Co-Principal

KEEPING HANDS TO SELF, PERSONAL SPACE
Students have been reminded multiple times by me and their teachers all year that they need to keep their hands, feet, and all objects to themselves. If students are touching each other in any way, it could lead to detention or a referral. Please see the handbook progressive discipline sheet. Remind your kids to keep their hand to themselves and stay in their bubble/personal space at all times. This is becoming a safety issue.
CELL PHONES NOT ALLOWED, SOCIAL MEDIA NOT A GOOD IDEA
Parents, please note that NO student in our K-8 school needs a cell phone. We have landlines available for their use. If a child is seen using their cell phone on campus it will be confiscated and will result in a referral on the progressive discipline chart. Your child’s use of devices should be limited at home (the doctor recommendation is 2 hours a day) and should only be used with direct supervision by a trusted adult. Do not let your child sleep with a device. Access to social media is NOT a good idea. Please monitor your child’s use at home. If their behavior online violates our Acceptable Use Policy, there will be serious consequences. NO EXCEPTIONS.
RE-REGISTRATION
It is imperative for parents of returning students to complete the Registration process ASAP. We are in open enrollment and if you have not registered, your child will be waitlisted. Should you have any questions, please contact me via email at agrey@stanthonygardena.org.
RALPH’S AND FOOD 4 LESS COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM
Just a reminder that our school is a member of the Community Rewards Programs for both Ralphs and Food 4 Less stores. For the Ralphs & the Food 4 Less Programs, you can opt in for the Community Rewards Program using your Ralphs or Food 4 Less Club Card. Please note that there is a different enrollment code for each of these stores. It is very important that you register the cards as soon as possible prior to the next time you use them, or the school will not receive benefits. Then please have the cashier scan the card or enter your ALT ID every time you make a purchase at Ralphs or Food 4 Less and we will receive a small percentage of each sale! We invite any parents or guardians who shop at Food 4 Less or Ralphs, even occasionally, to consider enrolling as this is an easy way to benefit the school without it costing you anything extra. We thank you in advance for your participation and thoughtfulness!
ON-CAMPUS PRIVATE TOURS AVAILABLE
I have been conducting private tours and scheduling meetings with prospective families this month. If someone you know would like to schedule a tour on campus with me, please contact me at agrey@stanthonygardena.org. Don’t forget our referral incentives! You can earn up to $150 in Scrip or have it credited toward your tuition. Ask the office how!
EARN ONE SERVICE HOUR FROM HOME!
Parents who review our school online on Yelp, Google, AND greatschools.org will earn up to one service hour after you send me your screenshots of all 3 sites as proof: to agrey@stanthonygardena.org.
