Homework
Students have been assigned their first official homework assignments for the week. Please check their weekly homework sheet in their homework folder. This sheet is to be signed each day along with their behavior chart.
Math
Students are to keep their ‘Into Math’ homework journal at home and will rip out their assigned homework pages for each day and attach it to their weekly homework sheet. Please make it a habit with your child of reading the instructions before answering each question. Please ensure only the assigned pages from the day of are attached to the sheet. Students should not be working ahead. If students need more of a challenge, I can give an extra practice sheet. Math homework is due every morning.
- They MUST write their FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, DATE AND NUMBER on each page.
- Students should staple each homework page together and in order to avoid misplacing it. (with Monday’s assignment on top)
Language Arts
Sight Words – Students have also brought home their ‘Sight Word’ Notebook. This notebook is also to stay home. Each week, students are assigned a weekly set of sight words that can be found in the homework folder. Each evening, your child is to choose one activity from the monthly sight word menu and write every sight word doing that one activity. The next evening, they will choose a different activity using the same weekly sight words. Their nightly sight word activity is to be posted on the “Sight Words” assignment on Seesaw according to the day they completed it.
Seesaw – students will be assigned 2 decodables on seesaw every week. This is to be completed by the Thursday of every week as well as the sight word activities.
Razkids – It provides a wide variety of books for our students. Students should have a Razkids account and will be asked to do an assessment to determine their reading level. They will usually be assigned 2 every week. This week they only have 1 Razkids assignment this week.
Username: your child’s first name and last name initial

**ELA Assignments are due every Thursday evening**
