Dear Junior High Families,

Happy Friday! I pray and hope you are all doing well. Please read the information for the week of 09/15 – 09/20.

Sunday, September 15 at 11AM
SAP’s friends and families are invited to join our Family Mass. Students may come in their complete formal mass uniform to receive “free dress” pass.

Fall Picture Day! Thursday, September 19
Students must wear their complete formal mass uniform. 

Attached to this email is Keys Studios order form. You can order online keysstudios.com. and enter the School access code 2425. PLEASE follow the instructions on the attached Portrait Package Form send in with your child on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

We ask you to not send the money to the school office.  Students will be going by grade to have their photo taken and will hand the payment envelope to the photographer. PLEASE make sure you have written their name/grade/order# and amount on the front of the envelope.

Christian Service Hours
Students in junior high are required to complete Christian Service Hours each school year. Please refer to Religion Syllabus for more information. 

8th Grade – 20 hrs 
7th Grade – 15 hrs
6th Grade – 10 hrs

** NJHS requires students to complete 10 service hours each trimester. Must have good academic and behavior standing.
** CJHS ( 7th and 8th Grade students only ) requires students to complete 5 service hours. Must pay the $5 application in the school office. Must have good academic and behavior standing.

Sunday Mass Reflection
Students must complete Sunday Mass Reflections. Mass Reflections will only be counted if you have completed the reflection from a Catholic Mass you have attended. Non-Catholic services and Reconciliation Prayer are not a Mass. A reflection form will be assigned on Friday and must be submitted the following Monday. This will be counted as one homework.

Non-Catholics are still required to complete the Gospel Reflection. They can use the websites attached in Google Classroom to complete the form. At times, I provide the paper copy of the Gospel Reading if they wish to have one. 

Digital copy of the Sunday Mass Reflection is attached to your child’s Google Classroom.
