Dear Third Grade Families,
I hope this message finds you well as we enter this festive season. I want to take a moment to congratulate our third-grade students for their outstanding performance in last Friday’s Christmas show. They truly shone on stage, and I am so proud of their hard work, enthusiasm, and teamwork. Thank you for your support in helping them prepare for this memorable event. Wishing you a joyful and blessed holiday season!
Here’s a look at what’s coming up for the week of Dec. 16 -Dec. 17. Please make sure to read all the important information below to avoid any questions that may already be addressed.
Deadlines:
1. Research about assigned country.
2. Use the websites your teacher provides to read about that country’s holiday traditions, foods, beliefs, and celebrations. You may also use other resources to research your country such as news articles, books, magazines, or interviews with people from that country.
3. As you learn about your country, write down your findings in your recording packet.
4. Create a Venn Diagraph on the paper comparing and contrasting your own personal Christmas traditions with those of the country you researched. Be sure to use correct spelling, neat handwriting, and illustrations or pictures.
5. Prepare a presentation (google slides, PowerPoint, etc.) with all the information you researched about your country.
6. Present your research to your class.
