Dear First Grade Families,
Here’s a look at what’s coming up for the week of Feb. 2/24-2/28. Please make sure to read all the important information below to avoid any questions that may already be addressed. If you missed last week’s email, you can find updates on my school blog: First Grade Blog.
Deadlines

Instructions, rubric, and report paper sent home
Missed tests and Make-up policy
Parents, please email me if your child will be staying after school to make up missed tests or assignments. Failure to do so will result in your child receiving an NI (Needs Improvement) on their missing assignments. Make-up days will be scheduled based on availability, as I have meetings on some days.
Finalizing Grades & Deadlines
I will be finalizing grades this week. If your child has any missing classwork, homework, projects, or tests, I will only accept them by Tuesday, February 25th—no exceptions.
Additionally, ST Math goals deadline are extended and also due by Tuesday, February 25th.
Fri. 2/28
I will be out on Friday this week, and there will be a substitute in my place. Our class schedule and routine will remain the same, and students will still be expected to take all their tests as planned.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me.

First Grade Parent Survey
As we continue our journey through third grade, I welcome your feedback on how the year is going and how we can work together to make this a positive and enriching experience for your child. While it may seem early for an evaluation, I want to ensure every family has the opportunity to share thoughts, ask questions, or offer suggestions—especially if you didn’t have a chance to do so at Back to School Night.
This survey is anonymous, and I sincerely appreciate your input. Please keep feedback focused on the classroom experience. Click the link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe6811TomDY38qTNx3rbBVpvSAcKm9MRGZ2D9Izu-i79cWk5g/viewform
