8th Grade Business (03/17-03/21)

Dear 8th Grade Families,

Happy Friday! I pray and hope you are all staying safe and warm in this cold weather. Please read the reminders and information you need for the week of 03/17-03/21.

Saint Patrick's Day (Monday, March 17)
To celebrate, students may come to school wearing green tops with uniform bottoms for free OR jean bottoms for a $1 to support our StuGo activities. 

Mass with Father Figures (Wednesday, March 19)
Our all school mass is on Wednesday, March 19 at 8AM. Each student can invite one father figure. Father figures must meet our students in line right in front of the school library starting at 7:40AM. We will walk together to Church at 7:45AM.

During Mass, 8th grade students with Father Figures will sit behind our class OR if they have younger sibling/s with the same father figure they may sit behind that lower grade class. Students with no father figures invited will stay with the teacher.

** Please enter the post office/chamber of commerce building and knock on the door that says Dial-A-Ride (City of Manhattan Beach). If this is your first time volunteering, pls. fill-up and submit the Manhattan Beach Volunteer Form on the day of the service.
** Please bring a printed copy of your Christian Service Form.  The Dial-A-Ride Office printer/scanner is sometimes out of service.
** Parents should be there ready to pick up their kids.

Pauly's Project 
The fifth grade class will be leading this year’s Lenten Project in partnership with Pauly’s Project. The donation drive will run from Wednesday, March 5th, to Friday, March 29th, and our community service event will take place on Sunday, April 6th.

Class Donations:
6th Grade: Floss & travel-size mouthwash
7th Grade: Small notebook & pen
8th Grade: Razors & comb 

I asked that each 8th grader to donate a minimum of 3 of the assigned item for our class. This is to help fulfill the 100 hygiene kits the 5th graders are planning to make. 

Thousand Pines Camp Retreat
