JH Newsletter (03/31-04/04)

Dear Junior High Families,

Blessed Sunday! Please read some important reminders for this week.

ARK Test
2nd - 8th Grade Ark testing is on Wednesday, April 2nd. JH students will be taking assessments right after morning assembly. 

Please make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before and has a good breakfast on Wednesday morning to help them do their best.

Pauly's Project Community Service Opportunity
Thank you for all the donations! JH students are invited to join the Pauly's Project CommUnity Sunday in Downtown LA. JH student will earn service hours for attending the event. Students must be accompanied by an adult as we are going to move to different locations. We highly encourage for families to carpool.

Easter Grams
It's time to place your order for the Student Government EASTER GRAMS 1 gram $3 OR 2 grams $5
Please complete the order form with 
FULL Name of the Student to receive the gram
Students grade
Who the Gram is from

DEADLINE to submit your completed Easter Grams and payment is April 4, 2025 by 3pm
The Catholic EASTER season lasts for 50 days. Easter Grams distribution is on Monday, April 28, 2025

Christian Service Hours
Christian Service Hours are required for JH to be completed each year. By the end of this week, GradeLink will be updated based on the number of hours submitted in the first and second trimesters. Please check the "Teacher Comment" for the number of hours submitted and needed for the third trimester. 

Please note of the hours needed for the school year.
6th Grade - 10 hours
7th Grade - 15 hours
8th Grade - 20 hours

Students who did not turn any service hours must fulfill the number of hours required for their grade in the third trimester.

TACSC Leadership Day at Saint Anthony High School (Monday, March 31)
Please let us know (JH teachers) if your student will be attending thee TACSC Leadership Day tomorrow at SAHS.

Student Government SY: 2025-2026
Student Government application will be out soon. A separate email will be sent out with the new process and requirements to apply.
