Dear Kinder Families,
Happy New Year and also 18th week of Kindergarten!
I hope your Christmas break was peaceful, eventful, restful, and fulfilling as we rejoiced the birthday of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
As we embark on the second half of the school year, I wanted to thank you for entrusting me with the privilege of being a part of your child’s early education journey. From mastering new concepts to forming friendships, each child has contributed to the warm and positive atmosphere in our classroom.
Here’s to a fantastic New Year filled with love, learning, laughter, exploration, and cherished memories!
Winter Break Homework: Catholic Handwriting Book
On Monday, 12/16, your child’s Catholic Handwriting Book was sent home for homework during the 3 week break. This handwriting book is DUE ON MONDAY, JANUARY 6TH AS APART OF THEIR GRADE!
STAR Testing Window 2 Opens 1/6-2/6:
STAR Early Literacy Testing for Kindergarten will be coming up in a few weeks. We have until February 6th to take their 2nd testing. Kindergarten does NOT take a Math STAR Testing. Please review your child’s Window 1 test scores to best understand where they needed specific growth for the next window. I will be going over these skills with each student in the next few weeks to help them prepare for our 2nd Window Testing! We take this test during class time and I will let you know when we are scheduled to take it!
