Kinder Week 23

Dear Kinder Families,

Happy 23rd Week of Kindergarten!

Please read below for any announcements and news regarding Kinder this week!

 

Wednesday, Feb 12th - Wear Red or Pink for Valentine’s Day!

Students are allowed to wear Red or Pink to celebrate Valentine’s day early! You can also wear jeans for $1, to support 8th grade and their fundraiser! 

Friday, February 14th- All School Mass

On Friday, we will attend the all-school mass at 8am. Please ensure the students are wearing their complete formal mass uniform. 

Friday, February 14th- Valentine’s Day Activities

We will be doing a Valentine’s Day activity with our Big Buddies at the end of the day! 

(You may bring a Valentine’s Day goodie for them — IF you wish!) 

Valentine’s Day Goodies!

You are allowed to bring packaged goodies/candy for the class if you wish! Please refrain from bringing any peanuts! Goodies/candy will be passed out at the end of the day to go home. Please keep in mind that we have 30 students in Kinder :) 

Kindergarten Spelling Bee

The School is participating in a School-wide spelling bee per grade level. I will be sending home a list of words to study, and the class will be tested this Friday! The winner of the spelling bee will be able to participate in our All-School Spelling Bee  Final on February 19th!

• February 17 – Presidents’ Day Holiday NO SCHOOL
• February 19 – All School Spelling Bee 10:30-12 in Hall 
• February 18-21: Re-Registration Week for returning students (all online) 
• February 20 – All School Marian Consecration Begins (ends on 3/25, Feast of the Annunciation: Mary’s Day)
• February 28 – Yearbook Pre-Sale ends (Presale for the hardcover is $40, on 3/1 it’s $50)
