8th Grade Business (03/24-03/28)

Dear 8th Grade Families,

Happy Feast of the Annunciation! Today we fully consecrated ourselves to Mama Mary. I pray that we can all continue to honor Our Lady throughout the year to increase our relationship with out spiritual mother. We encourage families to pray rosaries daily and/or say a "Hail Mary" when you hear sirens.

8th Grade Fundraiser: Dodger Day!
It's time for DODGER DAY at SAP - Wednesday, March 26, 2025
Wear your DODGER Blue and jeans - $2 to participate

CJSF due Wednesday, March 26 at 3PM
What you need?
1. Review and complete the attached application form. (Have your parents review you application as well.)
2. Submit your recent 2nd Trimester Report Card. If you need a copy, kindly reach out to your homeroom teachers or Mrs. Ray in the office.
3. $5 CJSF application fee and application for are due no later than Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 3PM>
4. To qualify, students must prove completion of their required 2nd Trimester Community Service Hours (5hrs).
5. Students who meet ALL CJSH requirements will be presented on Friday, April 4, 2025 after our school mass.


Cap and Gown Photos (Thursday, March 27)
Our grad photoshoot and spring picture day is this week. Students must bring their cap and gown in the morning.

8th Grade students may come to school wearing their appropriate graduation formal attire.
* Girls - nice dress or skirt/slacks with nice blouse; light make up is okay; if wearing heels please bring changing shoes.
* Boys - long sleeves and dress pants

8th Grade Photos for Brunch Video Presentation

You may add up to 3 pictures only. Kindly label your child's photos -- last name, first name, #.

Thousand Pines Release form due 03/31/2025

1. Click the Attendee Invite Link to register your student.
2. Don't forget to add your student as an “Attendee” and complete the release form!

Thousand Pines Trip Fees

The cost for this trip is $500. This includes program fee, bus transportation, food, lodging, and musicians fee. Kindly send your payments to Mr. Aguilar on/before Thursday, April 17. 

Graduation Day Package (Friday, June 6)
If you are interested, attached below is the package for the on the day photos. 

Live Stations of the Cross
8th Grade class will be leading the Stations of the Cross on Friday, April 11 at 1:30PM in the Church. 8th Grade parents are invited to pray with us during stations. I will be posting their roles and script in Google Classroom. We have costumes that they can use, but you are welcome to provide one for your student as well. 

Pauly's Project 
The fifth grade class will be leading this year’s Lenten Project in partnership with Pauly’s Project. The donation drive will run from Wednesday, March 5th, to Friday, March 28th, and our community service event will take place on Sunday, April 6th.

Class Donations:
6th Grade: Floss & travel-size mouthwash
7th Grade: Small notebook & pen
8th Grade: Razors & comb 

I asked that each 8th grader to donate a minimum of 3 of the assigned item for our class. This is to help fulfill the 100 hygiene kits the 5th graders are planning to make.
