Kinder Week 20

Dear Kinder Families,
Happy 20th Week of Kindergarten!Last week we took our letter recognition, letter sound, and sight word assessments. These were the same tests given at the beginning of the year that I shared with you during parent teacher conferences. I’d like to share how proud I am of the class, there was such a huge improvement within these last 2 months! Way to go, Kindergarten! You make me so proud!

No School on Monday, 1/20
The school will be Monday 1/20 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day!Kinder STAR Testing
Kindergarten will be taking their STAR Early Literacy Testing this week from 1/21-1/24. Please ensure they have a nutritious breakfast and snack to fuel their bodies and brains! Kinder does NOT take the STAR Math Tests!Wednesday, 1/22 Dodger Day!
8th Grade is hosting a fundraiser! For $2, you can wear your DODGER GEAR to show your LA DODGER PRIDE and celebrate the 2024 World Series Champs!Progress & STAR Reports
Progress reports will be sent home on Friday, 1/24 as well as their STAR Reports from their 2nd Window Testing results and their Letter Assessments!Catholic School’s Week & Open House
Open house will be on Sunday, 1/26 where we will kick off the start of Catholic School’s Week! Open house will be from 12:00p-2:00p where the classrooms will be open to visit! Throughout the week we will be celebrating something different every day to commence our special week!- Jan 27: Student Appreciation Day
- Jan 28: Teacher Appreciation Day
- Jan 29: Admin Appreciation Day
- Jan 30: Parent Appreciation Day
- Jan 31: Special Person’s Appreciation Day
