Dear Kinder Families,
Happy 21st Week of Kindergarten!
It was so great kicking off Catholic School's Week at Mass today and Open House! It was lovely seeing your families and inviting you all to come and see our classrooms! We celebrate your faith-filled decision to begin your child's education here, at Saint Anthony of Padua.
On Friday, you should have received a stapled packet that included your child’s progress report, STAR Window 2 test results, and their updated letter recognition test. This packet is your copy to keep! Please sign and return the additional progress report tomorrow!
I am beyond proud of this class. I am so happy to report that we currently have NO students who tested in Red for this STAR Window, and that many of our students have moved UP in their testing categories! They all have been working extremely hard in class, I could not be more proud of them! We are half-way through Kindergarten and seeing them all grow and develop puts a smile on my face.
We have a busy week of events, please read below for some reminder and announcements regarding Kinder this week!
Catholic School’s Week
Throughout the week we will be celebrating something different every day to commence our special week!
100th Day of Kindergarten
Next Wednesday, 2/5 we will be celebrating the 100th Day of School/Kindergarten! We have been practicing how to count up to 100, and we will be doing many 100th day of school activities all day long! Students are invited to DRESS UP AS A 100 YEAR OLD! You can be as silly and creative as you’d like :) (Mrs. Garrido will also be dressing up!)
