Kinder Week 25

Dear Kinder Families,

Happy 25th Week of Kindergarten!

Today, the class is with our lovely substitute Mrs. Avila and Ms. Maria, as I am feeling under the weather. I will be back to school tomorrow morning. Please read below for any announcements and news regarding upcoming Kindergarten events!

Gradelink will be Blocked!
Parents, at 3:00pm Gradelink will be blocked school-wide. Teachers will be inputting final grades for the Trimester 2 Report Cards. Please take this time to check any recent graded progress until 3pm! 

Raise-Craze Fundraiser
Please continue doing all your Acts of Kindness (AOKs!) Send information to your families, relatives, and friends to raise money for our school! Kindergarten is currently in 4th Place!

Read Across America Week - 3/2— 3/7
Read across America celebrates on the famous author’s birthday, Dr. Seuss! We will be celebrating our LOVE for reading and journeying through a wonderful book. Please be on the look out for additional news on how we will be celebrating next week during class!

Tuesday, March 11th- Kindergarten Field Trip
We will be having our 2nd Field Trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA! Permission Forms have been sent out and Selected Chaperones will be notified on Tuesday, 2/25. Please refer to my previous email for more information on the field trip.

• February 24 – Gradelink Blocked today for grades to be finalized
• February 28 – Yearbook Pre-Sale ends (Presale for the hardcover is $40, on 3/1 it’s $50)
• March 2-6 – Read Across America Week
• March 3 – Open Enrollment to the public begins 
• March 5 – ASH WEDNESDAY (Mass uniforms), the beginning of Lent, SAP Choir sings, Raise Craze Fundraiser ends
• March 6 – 2nd Trimester Ends
• March 10 – Faculty Retreat Day with Msgr. Sal (NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS)
